Amphitheater Public Schools will seek a 10 percent increase in its maintenance and operation budget via an override election in November.
If the override in the Nov. 4 election passes, the district will receive $2,293,871 in additional funding for the 2015-2016 school year. Property taxes in the district would increase by $0.1652 per $100 of secondary assessed valuation.
The deadline to register to vote in order to be able to participate in the override election is Oct. 6.
