Oro Valley has hired Kristy Diaz-Trahan as its next Parks and Recreation Director
Diaz-Trahan, who starts Feb.4, currently works as a recreation services division manager with the city of Albuquerque. She previously worked five years with the town of Marana.
“I am excited that Kristy will be joining our team,” Oro Valley Town Manager Greg Caton said in a news release. “We conducted a nationwide recruitment, including an extensive selection process, and Kristy clearly rose to the top. She will be a great asset to our Parks and Recreation Department and to the Town’s leadership staff.”
The town's current recreation director, Ainsley Legner, is retiring after 13 years with Oro Valley.
