The town of Oro Valley wants to hear from the public about forming an overlay district at Innovation Park, a neighborhood on the northwest corner of North Oracle and West Tangerine Roads.
Meant to boost commerce in the area, the proposal is meant to start a streamlined review process for approving developments in the neighborhood.
“The proposed overlay district demonstrates our commitment to expanding the bioscience corridor,” Mayor Satish Hiremath said in a press release. “These corporations are looking at Oro Valley, and a streamlined development process will give us the edge over competing locations.”
The meeting will go from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Ventana-Roche cafeteria at 1910 E. Innovation Park Drive. Officials will give a presentation about the project and listen to feedback.
