The Pima County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in identifying an armed robbery suspect who was caught on surveillance robbing a Walgreens store in Vail.
At about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, sheriff deputies responded to a Walgreens at the intersection of Mary Ann Cleveland Way and Colossal Cave Road for a report of a robbery, according to a news release from the department.
Deputies learned that a man came into the store and demanded prescription drugs while pointing a gun at store employees.
The suspect, who was seen wearing a black motorcycle helmet and goggles, faded blue jeans and a black and cream-colored jacket, left the store through a back door and fled on a black motorcycle in an unknown direction, the department said.Â
Sheriff detectives obtained surveillance footage of the armed robbery. The robbery/assault unit is handling the ongoing investigation.
The department urged the public with information about the identity of the suspect to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
