Tucson Sector’s Border Patrol Honor Guard Drill Team marched away with top honors in a contest last week and the win qualifies them to compete in Washington D.C. next month.
The eight-man drill team competed April 3 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base against teams from El Centro, San Diego, El Paso and Del Rio Sectors, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release.
As a result of their win, the Tucson Sector team will represent the U.S. Border Patrol at the 12th Annual Steve Young Honor Guard Competition on May 14 in Washington, D.C.
They will compete against other law enforcement honor guard drill teams from throughout the country.
