The Tucson Police Department is seeking recruits for its next academy.
The department is taking applications through Sept. 25 for its January police recruit academy.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens without any felony convictions, have a high school diploma or GED, have a good driving record, and be at least 21 years old by the academy graduation date of May 21, 2015, according to the city’s online job posting.
Starting pay for new officers is $45,968 a year.
