Pima County sheriff's detectives have identified a man they said threw soda in a Sun Tran driver's face after a fare dispute.
The man has been identified as Joshua Denning, 26. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
On Dec. 30 at about 5:35 p.m., deputies responded to reports of an assault at East Ajo Way and South Palo Verde Road. A male and female had gotten on the bus at East Grant Road and North Alvernon Way and had a verbal confrontation with the driver over problems with their bus pass.
The driver told the couple their behavior was inappropriate and told them to get off the bus. Â Instead of exiting, they moved to the back of the bus where they sat down and remained quiet, the sheriff's department said.
Once they reached their stop, the woman exited through the rear and the man moved toward the front exit. Before leaving the bus, he turned and threw his drink in the driver's face.
