A 21-year-old man from Agua Prieta, Sonora, was arrested by officers at the Douglas Port of Entry after they found 264 pounds of marijuana concealed in his vehicle, Customs and Border Protection said in a news release.
On Feb. 4, agents found the drugs in the Chevrolet sedan as it attempted to cross into the United States. The drugs were worth about $132,000.
The man was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
