Seven people with active warrants issued by the Marana court were arrested by Marana police during a sweep Saturday.
All seven were booked into the Pima County jail following their arrest, according to a news release from the Marana Police Department. The bond amount of the outstanding warrants served totaled nearly $90,000.
Two of the people arrested were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. One person had a $75,000 felony warrant for domestic violence/stalking that had been issued by Pima County Superior Court.
This is the fifth warrant sweep conducted this year by Marana police. A total of 54 arrests have been made. The warrants have totaled nearly $129,000 in bond money.
