A 51-year-old man was arrested Sunday after officers found more than 660 pounds of marijuana in the RV he was driving at the Port of Lukeville.
Raul Zavala Ordaz, a U.S. Citizen, was attempting to cross the border from Mexico and was referred for a secondary inspection of the 2001 Holiday Rambler he was driving, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
A canine alerted the vehicle and officers found baggage containing more than $330,000 worth of marijuana, the release said.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations took custody of Ordaz. The drugs and vehicle were seized.
