Using both her hands to guide the machine, Pat Alderman, a Juki educator, creates a freestyle design using the long arm quilting machine during Quilt Fiesta. Juki, a Japanese manufacturer of industrial sewing machines, recently got into making machines for the home which can be used with a computer or do it can be done by hand, Alderman said.
