Photos: Tucson families have small Easter egg hunts
Despite Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) concerns and cancelation of Easter events, some families still celebrated Easter on Sunday April 12, 2020.
Justin Anderson and his wife Morgan Culver invited their boys, Valor and Kanon Anderson, grandparents over for the usual Easter egg hunt. Anderson and Culver usually attend a larger Easter egg hunt festivity, after their home egg hunt, in Oro Valley but due to the cancelation of large gatherings, they did a small immediate family Easter egg hunt.
David Rodriguez and his wife Christina Fimbres also celebrated with their Easter Sunday with their four kids, Jeremiah Rodriguez, Mateo Rodriguez, Aliza Rodriguez and Jaidah Rodriguez, as planned with a few changes. The normal Easter Sunday routine includes a cook out with many family members and friends for Easter, but due to the Coronavirus disease COVID-19, they decided to celebrate Easter with just their kids.
"With everyone practicing social distancing, it was just us and my sister who just lives up the street," said David Rodriguez.
