Slow Roll Buffalo organized the "March for Karen and Justice for All" in Niagara Square on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020. Karen Huffman, a member of Slow Roll Buffalo, was was struck and injured by a pickup truck that was driven through a crowd of protesters Wednesday night during a protest for Breonna Taylor. About 200 people showed up to Thursday's march, many with bikes, making their way from Niagara Square to Broadway, then up Genesee back to Niagara Square.

Independent Health, which has sponsored the cyclist gatherings for several years to promote healthy lifestyles, said Friday that "concern" had arisen over some speeches that included mayoral candidate India Walton during stops along the bike route.
