Former President Barack Obama spoke in Tucson for the first time since 2011 to campaign for Vice president Kamala Harris on October 18, 2024 on the campus of the University of Arizona.
“Together we’ve got a chance to choose a new generation of leadership in this country and start building a better and stronger and fairer and more hopeful America,” Obama told the crowd.
Obama joined a growing list of visits to the state by candidates in the race for the White House and their political surrogates.
