7 Day Forecast
A storm Monday evening toppled a tree onto a mobile home on Tucson's north side.
No one was injured, said Capt. Brian Keeley of Northwest Fire District.
One person was inside of the mobile home in the 4300 block of North Flowing Wells Road, south of West Wetmore Road, Keeley said.
Firefighters forced open the back door of the home, and got the homeowner out.
Thunderstorms developed Monday in the late morning and early afternoon and brought scattered showers to the metropolitan area.
Monday's high reached 91 degrees at 1:23 p.m., and the low was 72 degrees at 6:46 a.m.
There is enough moisture in the atmosphere for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday.
Then the Tucson area is expected to dry out by mid-week with storms forecasted to move eastward near the New Mexico border, according to the National Weather Service.
