A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set today to show off historic Old Main to the public after a $13.5 million facelift.
Cheerleaders, the University of Arizona marching band and Wilma and Wilbur Wildcat will be there as part of the festivities planned from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The 123-year-old building now is home to President Ann Weaver Hart's presidential office suite.
The UA Foundation is selling naming rights to some of the building’s newly renovated public areas, and donors also will be able to buy an original tile from the building’s roof.
