A backhoe tears down part of the eastbound Interstate 10 bridge over Ina Road on Wednesday. Ina Road at I-10 will be closed for about two years to reconstruct the interchange so Ina Road can pass over the highway and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks east of the interchange. Westbound interstate traffic has been shifted to the westbound frontage road during the closure, and eastbound traffic has been shifted to the existing westbound travel lanes.
