Police are searching for a man they say stole lottery tickets and cash from open registers at several west-side and midtown businesses at least 14 times in the past two and half weeks.
The man is suspected of stealing from stores and restaurants in the 1700 block of West Speedway Boulevard, the 1800 block of East Speedway Boulevard, the 3100 block of North First Avenue and the 3800 block of North Campbell Avenue, between Nov. 19 and Dec. 7, Tucson police said.
The man is between 20-25 years old, is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has blond hair and a medium build, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson police spokeswoman in a news release.Â
He has been seen wearing black long-sleeved and short-sleeved T-shirts, dark colored pants and shorts and white tennis shoes, the release said.Â
