Recruiting posters from the Civil War through World War II and soldiers' letters will be among the historical documents for sale at an upcoming military memorabilia show.
Collector Steve Epstein, who co-founded the Web site www.yourpieceofhistory.com, will host the show from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. St. Andrews Drive.
The show will take place in the club's Skyline Room and include a no-host reception, light hors d'oeuvres, a raffle drawing and prizes, a media release said.
The show will donate part of the proceeds from document sales to Tee it Up for the Troops Inc., the release said. That's a national nonprofit organization that helps the families of killed and disabled soldiers.
To attend the Military Memorabilia Show, call the country club at 299-1111 in advance.
