A man has been sentenced to 17.5 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine in Arizona.
Alex Pedrin, 26, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Tucson, prosecutors say.
Pedrin was breaking into homes and stealing drugs and money, investigators at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say.
An ATF undercover agent posing as a disgruntled drug courier told Pedrin he knew where a large amount of cocaine was stored.
When Pedrin assembled a “crew” for a home invasion to steal the cocaine, an arrest team was waiting.
Pedrin was convicted by a jury in February.
