Tucson police have closed East Grant Road to vehicle traffic between North Ralph Avenue and North Swan Road, authorities said.
There's no estimate as to when the roadway will be reopen, as crews are working to repair power poles damaged in the storm, said Tucson police spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Bay.
Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
