Parker Canyon Lake and the Lake View Campground southwest of Sierra Vista have been reopened to the public.
The lake and campground were closed recently because of bear activity. No bear activity was present over the weekend, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
People using the lake and campground should stay alert to any bears, which are attracted to human food and trash.
Visitors are reminded to keep their campsites clean, stow foods in containers out of sight, utilize bear-proof food and trash receptacles if available, and wash and stow cooking utensils as soon as possible.
