St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church will host a presentation and discussion at 10:45 a.m. Sunday of a new game designed to improve and expand awareness of HIV/AIDS.
The game was developed by Anne Harman, a member of St. Francis' congregation. It has been translated into several languages and has already been put to use in many African countries.
The game challenges conventional ways of thinking and preconceptions about people with HIV/AIDS. It seeks to help overcome fear, shame and injustice.
The presentation and discussion will take place in Rooms 32-33 at St. Francis in the Foothills, 4625 E. River Road. For more information call the church office at 299-9063.
