La Paloma Academy hosted a "Heroes' Night" event Sept. 11 to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
On Sept. 11, our nation remembers the courageous men and women who risked their own lives to save the lives of others.
For the seventh year, the students of La Paloma Academy honored Tucson's own heroes. Councilwoman Shirley Scott was the guest speaker for the event.
