The Pima Council on Aging is taking applications for home repair grants up to $4,000 for major repairs or up to $750 for minor repairs.
To apply, homeowners must be age 60 or older by July 1; live within nonreservation areas of Pima County; be the owners and occupiers of their house or mobile home, not renters; be in severe social and/or economic need; and be at risk of health or safety hazards because of repair problems.
Application forms in English and Spanish are available from the Pima Council on Aging at 8467 E. Broadway, or call 790-7262, Ext. 5081. Applications must be completed and returned in person by April 30, or postmarked by that date. Those selected will be notified by Aug. 31.
