Reid Park Zoo photoKaya, an African lion at Reid Park Zoo, gave birth to three cubs Thursday.
The two males and one female had their first veterinary exam this morning and appear to be healthy, according to zoo administrators.
Papa lion, Shombay, is being kept separate from Kaya and the cubs for the safety of the offspring.
