Two puppies and their mother found abandoned in a rain-soaked cardboard box on Tucson's southwest side are now in good hands at the Humane Society, but they need a permanent home, the organization says.
The white poodle, named Snowflake, and her two pups, Cole and Ember, were found near West Ajo Way and South Sandario Road, said a news release from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
Aside from having matted coats, the poodle family is in good condition, the release said.
The Humane Society is currently offering discounts on kittens, certain cats and dogs as part of its Kringle Cats and Santa Paws promotion.
