Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle collision northeast of Casa Grande that left one dead and five injured Monday morning.
Few details were available about the crash, which occurred near Sacaton on the Gila Indian Reservation just before 10:30 a.m.
The accident happened near the junction of Arizona 87 and Arizona 187, said Officer Jim Oien, a Department of Public Safety spokesman.
The collision blocked the road for several hours, he said.
No further information was available as the investigation was turned over to the Gila River Indian Police and no one was available for comment Monday evening.
