Record rainfall has been recorded at the Tucson International Airport today.
The National Weather Service said as of 1:30 p.m. the airport received 1.87 inches of rain.
That breaks the record for Sept. 8, which was .94 of an inch in 1919.
Other areas of Tucson have unofficially reported about 3 inches of rain.
