The 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday when U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers searched him and found $10,744 stuffed into his sneakers.
The cash was seized and the man arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
