Watch: Tucson artist aims to confront Americans with migrant-death crisis
Tucson artist Álvaro Enciso wants to make a largely invisible tragedy unfolding in the Southern Arizona desert more visible to the world. For the past decade Enciso and his team of friends and volunteers from the Tucson Samaritans, have spent every Tuesday placing his hand-made crosses at the site of migrants' deaths.

As much as he wants to honor those who lost their lives in the desert, Álvaro Enciso also wants to confront Americans with a harsh reality.
Experts from all four U.S. border states with Mexico, gathered at the University of Arizona, want to develop a standardized system to document migrant deaths.
More than 113,000 people are missing in Mexico, data show. And the work of locating, identifying and laying those people to rest often falls to family.
