Residents in Oro Valley and Tucson came together in a national "No Kings Day of Defiance" protest, to counter the military parade in Washington D.C. to mark the Army's 250th anniversary, which coincides with President Trump's birthday. The event is organized by the 50501 Movement. The name 50501 stands for 50 states, 50 protests, one movement.

“No Kings” follows several days of protests in Tucson and nationwide against federal immigration raids.
