Oro Valley employees removed invasive species like buffelgrass and Russian Thistle from the newly acquired Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve in Oro Valley during an Earth Day beautification event on April 21, 2023.
Employees filled 62 bags with invasive grasses from both sides of about a quarter-mile of trail.
Oro Valley acquired the 202-acre Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve (formerly The Golf Club at Vistoso) in the Summer of 2022.
