Work continues on the Pit Stop in the back of Desert Survivors Nursery as customers browse various plants during the garden's spring sale.

Pit Stop will be the home of a small cafe for customers and those utilizing the nearby Loop trail which passes along the back of the nursery. Workers are currently sprucing up the landscape around the trail near Desert Survivors property.

All plant purchases at the nursery go directly to providing jobs for adults with disabilities in the horticultural therapy program.  Group Supported Employment (GSE) for up to 40 adults with developmental disabilities.

The spring sale runs through Saturday, March 14. The nursery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
