Rancho de Los Cerros is a 10-acre ranch owned by David and Molly Hoffman near Catalina State Park. The ranch dates back to the early 1900s. It was a dude ranch in the 1940s. It was donated to the YWCA in 1961 and became a summer camp. The YWCA later leased it to a drug rehab company.Â
Hoffman estimates he pumped $2 million into rehabbing the property. It has been used as a corporate retreat.
The property is now up for auction.

In Monday's vote, state lawmakers agreed that the infusion of tax dollars might convince people to visit the state's remaining guest ranches.
