Neil Erickson on a ledge overlooking Bonita Canyon and Stafford Cabin and Faraway Ranch c.1900's. Neil and Emma Erickson homesteaded the 160-acre ranch. Neil, a carpenter, built the home. In 1903, he become the first ranger for the Chiricahua Forest Reserve.
