People from around the community came to participate in the annual Stroll and Roll event at Christina-Taylor Green Linear Park Saturday morning, Jan. 11, 2020.

Hosted by Moms Demand Action attendees decorated Stars of Hope which will be taken to those in disasters, wrote messages on the nearby paths with chalk and enjoyed the morning walking and riding along nearby trails.

The event was one of seven Beyond meet-ups around the Tucson area this year. Beyond Tucson, which started in 2012, originally was inspired to remember those who died in the 2011 Tucson shooting and bring members of the community outside in a healthy way.
