Trevor Hoffman, former Arizona Wildcat Baseball player and Hall of Fame pitcher, spoke at Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl 2021 Kickoff luncheon at the Tucson Convention Center.
In an interview style approach, Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl Executive Director Kym Adair asked Hoffman questions about his time playing for the Arizona Wildcats as well as his time in Tucson. Adair also asked about Hoffman's entrance music and how "Hells Bells" from AC/DC became his walk up song.
Hoffman also told stories about his family, his mom who was a ballerina and his dad who was a singer, and being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Hoffman wasn't the only Arizona Athletics sports standout at the luncheon.
Former Arizona Softball head coach Mike Candrea was awarded the 2021 Dick Tomey Arizona Strong Award.
