Photos: Senior living residents perform a parody of "The Sound of Music"
Residents of The Hacienda at the Canyon gathered to watch other fellow residents put on a staged reading of "The Sound of Music" titled "The Sound of Music Abridged."
Missy Paschke-Wood, Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance community resource director, adapted the original script as a parody with jokes about the community and growing older.
Paschke-wood put on the staged reading to "bring some smiles."
