  • Dec 11, 2017 Updated Feb 6, 2018

Topgolf held a showcase of the new facility, due to open in mid-December.

Triple-decker Topgolf center nears opening

Tucson’s first Topgolf, an entertainment center featuring electronically scored driving-range games, food and drinks, is scheduled to open Dec. 15 at 4050 W Costco Place in Marana.

The facility features three levels of driving ranges with 72 climate-controlled hitting bays, where patrons can play a variety of games hitting balls with electronic tags that track hits at targets consisting of large circular netting.

The center also has a full-service restaurant and bars, private event spaces and meeting rooms, a rooftop terrace with fire pits, hundreds of TVs and free Wi-Fi.

Costs range from $25 to $45 per hour per hitting bay, depending on when they are used.

Dallas-based Topgolf has 37 centers nationwide, including three in the Phoenix area. The entertainment center company has also inked deals to open centers in Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates.
