Alisha Brewer, a zoo keeper, feeds Snow, a 17 year old polar bear, pears as a treat. Snow came from San Diego to the Reid Park Zoo in February for treatment of dermatitis, a skin disease. The desert heat and sun has helped Snow heal. She has a full coat of fur again and is less itchy.
