David Arellano is the Dean of Enrollment Management at Pima Community College. David was born and raised in Tucson and is a proud product of the Sunnyside Unified School District. As a first-generation, Latino college graduate he earned an Associate's degree from P C C, Bachelor's and Master's degrees from NAU and is currently a doctoral candidate at Baylor University. His doctoral research is focused on improving Latina/o/x and low-income student success. David has served students at PCC for over 14 years. His core mission is to serve students in their pursuit of educational and career goals while ensuring access, success, service excellence, engagement and diversity. As Dean, his role is to provide administrative oversight and leadership for PCC's enrollment and student services operations including creating innovative solutions to complex systemic issues. He continues to collaborate and lead to improve access and create sustainable change for student success at PCC.

Jose Arias is a Business Banker & Vice-President at First Citizens. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. For over 14 years, Jose has worked with high-net-worth clients within Southern Arizona as well as internationally and continues to serve Southern Arizona business owners by playing an essential role in helping them grow by providing banking solutions, financing for working capital, commercial real estate, equipment, and more. He volunteers as a board member for Greater Tucson Leadership, Tucson Youth Development and Ace and Youthworks Charter High School. Jose finds purpose through his work and views his occupation as an opportunity where he can help someone's passion and hard work result in local economic growth improving the quality of life of the families in our community.

Thomas Bogart is a native Tucsonan who is driven to make a difference in the community. Through positive engagement, he creates environments and relationships that add value. Early in his career, Thomas spent much of his time working with the most disadvantaged populations in Arizona. While working at the University of Arizona, he contributed to human-subject research in the areas of drug/alcohol dependence and homelessness. This work expanded opportunities to those in need while simultaneously adding to public knowledge. In his time at the U A , he raised the standard of living for thousands of Southern Arizona residents. Currently, Thomas contributes to those around him by working as a Business Operations and Data Manager at Pima JTED. In this role he improves systems and enables the district to offer purposeful Career and Technical Education (CTE) learning opportunities to students of Southern Arizona.

Justin works with FranklinCovey, a global training/ consulting firm, helping organizations create positive cultures where people feel like they are winning and get results. A graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver he initially worked in technology staffing with TEKsystems, recruiting over 300 IT professionals for Tucson businesses. Talent management roles led him to Global Knowledge, Cognixia and to FranklinCovey. Justin founded Tucson Learning & Development Professionals MeetUp, where currently 50 Tucson leaders, passionate about professional development, share and expand their thought leadership. He has supported The University of Arizona Sales Club, Habitat for Humanity, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Tour de Tucson, Ronald McDonald House, Food for the Hungry, Pat Tillman Foundation and others. Justin is passionate about hockey and a raving fan of the Tucson Roadrunners. He and his wife Stephanie are avid hikers and pleased to bring up their 1-year old daughter in the Old Pueblo.

Paloma Boykin, a third-generation Tucsonan, graduated from the University of Arizona in 2 0 0 8 and earned her Master's from Northern Arizona University in 2 011. She has worked for The University of Arizona since January 2009 and is currently a Senior Academic Advisor for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. Paloma has been a member of the Junior League of Tucson, Inc. since 2012 and has served in many leadership positions in her tenure. Paloma serves as the co-chair of the Greater Phoenix National College Fair, which attracts over 4,000 high school and community college students from all over Arizona in their pursuit of higher education. She has sat on various non-profit boards and actively volunteers with BagIt, Ben's Bells, Pima Council on Aging and the Arizona Alumni Association, and serves on a task force with Arizona Athletics.

Paris Chacon is the owner of Affordable Paralegal Solutions, LLC. She provides family law, estate planning, probate and business formation services. Paris has made a measurable impact on the community over the last 10 years as a selfless, passionate advocate for individuals needing access to the legal system. She thrives on empowering others to advocate for themselves in legal matters through educating and informing. She also enjoys giving back by volunteering with Southern Arizona Legal Aid. Paris is a native Tucsonan and proud graduate of Flowing Wells Uni fied School District. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family.

Ben Collinsworth is an early childhood educator and graduate of Northern Arizona University. For his work as a Preschool teacher at Emily M e s ch ter Early Learning Center, he has been named a United Way Literacy Champion, an A ZK12 Center Teacher Leader and Arizona Educational Foundation Teacher of the Year finalist. Ben's passion for play and performance in the classroom has driven his teaching career and helped him work alongside The Mini Time Machine Museum, Ben's Bells Project, and Make Way for Books.

Dr. Peel is the Program Director/Administrative Faculty for the online MSW Program in the School of Cultural and Family Psychology at Pacific Oaks College. A Brooklyn native, Dr. Peel completed her doctorate at the University of Arizona in 2 019, with an emphasis on the socioemotional development of healthcare workers and the intersection of disability, health disparities and aging. Dr. Peel has taught and held leadership positions at The Claremont Colleges, UA , and ASU. She has created award-winning civic engagement programs, developing innovative field placements at hospitals, hospice, ambulatory clinics, rehabilitation centers and nonprofits. She is the Consulting Editor for the Health & Social Work Journal, volunteers at Planned Parenthood Southern Arizona and is a Board Member of the Rillito Bend Neighborhood Association. After working in radio and volunteering at Downtown Radio Tucson, she co-founded an online radio station, Rarity Rock Radio, with her husband Michael, 40 Under 40 Class of 2015.

Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Arizona's (UA) Cancer Center, Director of Community Engagement for the U A College of Public Health CoVHORT: COVID-19 Research Study, and is also a Chairperson for the Hopi Education Endowment Fund Board. She has also established an emergency fund and scholarship for U A American Indian Students and acts as a mentor to UA undergraduate and graduate students. During the pandemic she has organized mask drives for the Hopi Tribe and Gallup Indian Medical Center and locally is providing groceries and supplies to those in-need as Lead Organizer of the ongoing Southern AZ Urban Native and Indigenous COVID-19 Relief fundraising and outreach effort.

While at the helm of her creative consulting company, Nicole Dahl pitched the concept of an art hotel committed to fostering human connection and honoring community. In 2018, she accepted the dual role of Creative Director and General Manager of what is now known as Hotel McCoy. Hotel McCoy exceeded first year goals, established itself as a critical pillar in the Tucson arts community with a commission-free gallery, art-filled guest rooms, a mural covered exterior and interactive social media content. Hotel McCoy has been recognized by Sunset Magazine and featured in the Washington Post for its successful approach to navigating COVID-19. Dahl is a first-generation college graduate, having received her degree from University of Arizona at 27, working two jobs throughout her collegiate journey. She is currently enrolled in a novel writing program at Catapult Publishing and enjoys reading and spending time with her family, including her daughters, Irie and Freeda .

Lysette Davi's passion is connecting students to the Tucson community to create social change. In her current position as Assistant Director of Student Engagement at the Honors College, Lysette works toward addressing social issues including homelessness, immigration, poverty and public health. She has created numerous programs for students to learn and practice cultural humility. Lysette is from California, but considers Tucson home. She earned her BA in Political Science from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Philippines. She completed her MA and her PhD in October 2020 from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on transnational education, online learning and cultural humility. Lysette is currently an HSI Fellow. Lysette has previously been awarded the University of Arizona's Centennial Achievement Award, The Lexie Kamerman Dedication to Social Justice Award and is an Erasmus Circle Scholar.

Bill De La Rosa is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Arizona's Binational Migration Institute, where he researches the criminalization of immigrants. During the last year, he also worked in the Pima County Administrator's Office on criminal justice initiatives ranging from policing reform to drug sentencing alternatives. Before this, he served as a Truman-Albright Fellow in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Bill is currently pursuing his Doctorate from the University of Oxford as a Clarendon Scholar before enrolling at Yale Law School. He has a Bachelor's from Bowdoin College and two Master's degrees from Oxford University. He is a Truman Scholar, a Marshall Scholar and the 2016 National Male Hispanic Scholar of the Year. Outside of work, Bill is an Editor for Border Criminologies and a member of Joe Biden's Innovation Policy Committee. He enjoys volunteering for local immigrant advocacy organizations and mentoring students from the Lapan College Club, STEP: Student Expedition Program, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Marleny is driven to empowering the Deaf, Indigenous, and immigrant communities in the U.S and Latin America. A former undocumented student, she studied ASL Interpreting at Pima Community College and received her bachelor's from Northern Arizona University. Marleny has garnered an array of skills in the humanities, earning the Academic Excellence award for her distinctive research at Stanford University, where she obtained her M.A. in Latin American Studies. She has proficiency in five languages and recently fulfilled a Fulbright Scholarship in Italy investigating the deaf immigrant experience. Her passion for helping students from hardscrabble backgrounds access higher education has led Marleny to engage in several social impact projects, resulting in R2A (Reach to Achieve) Consulting, an Ed Tech currently being founded. Marleny is now at Vanderbilt University undertaking the unique MBA/MPP in Education Policy where she is focusing on bridging policy-making and business through a non-traditional lens.

Pedro De Velasco is a husband and a father of two daughters. He is also an immigrant advocate and an immigrant himself. He studied law in Mexico, where he began his social work with migrant communities. He was later appointed State Coordinator of the 'Paisano' Program in Coahuila , Mexico, a program responsible for supporting and informing Mexicans and Mexican Americans about their rights and obligations upon returning or visiting Mexico.

He moved to Tucson in 2013 to work with the immigrant community in Southern Arizona at the Consulate of Mexico in Tucson, where he was head of Consular Protection and Legal Affairs. His role was to protect the rights and well-being of Mexican nationals abroad, which allowed him to know first-hand the needs of our migrants and immigrant community. His work in benefit of his community, regardless of national origin or background, led him to become a community organizer with Chicanos Por La Causa in 2020, convinced of the importance and contributions of immigrants to our plural community.

Steven is a clinical toxicologist and the director of the Arizona Poison and Drug Information Center (APDIC). After graduating from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy in 2 015, he went on to complete a toxicology fellowship and then become the youngest director in APDIC's history. In addition to his clinical and director duties, Dr. Dudley is the toxicology fellowship director and a preceptor and course instructor for student pharmacists. He also served on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Substance Use Disorder Advisory Committee and oversees the Opioid Assistance and Referral Line for Arizona, which led him to be awarded the Cardinal Health Generation Rx Champions Award honoring a pharmacist who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to raising awareness of the dangers of prescription drug abuse among the general public and among the pharmacy community.

The words 'Reach Higher' aptly describe Michelle Ennabe. The daughter of first generation Latino and Arab-Americans and the first in her family to pursue higher education, Michelle understands that where you live influences not only how you live, but also how long you live. For this reason, Michelle has completed cross-disciplinary degrees in Physiology, Neuroscience, and Sociology. After finishing her MS in Cellular and Molecular Medicine, she will apply to medical school to become a physician. Michelle has created her own refugee support program, helping people acquiring English with schoolwork and creating social events to help children assimilate. She also helps distribute produce to homeless shelters and low-income apartments in a food desert through Borderlands Produce Rescue. As President of La Mesa Division site, she has contributed to the distribution of over 500,000 pounds of fresh produce and created scholarships for first-generation students. Michelle believes that preventative medicine does not have to begin at the patient bedside. Instead, it can start in the community teaching about health and educating the next generation.

Robin is a Doctor of Behavioral Health and is the Chief Clinical Officer at Escalera Health, offering psychiatry, therapy and primary care. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master's in social work from Arizona State University. Robin brings her combination of a management perspective and clinical approaches for chronic conditions, preventative care and clinical operations. Robin's administrative background includes implementing, developing, and overseeing programs for both integrated outpatient and inpatient clinics for adults and children. Robin oversees clinical operations including developing and implementing policies and procedures, state health department licensing, compliance, quality management, and strategic planning. Most recently, along with her clinical management team, her group developed a COVID 19 testing tent, testing over 8,000 individuals in Phoenix and Tucson since March. They also developed a mobile testing team, traveling throughout the state to test large employer groups.

Lizbeth Gonzalez grew up on the Nogales, Sonora/Arizona border, where she witnessed first-hand the dynamics of health, immigration and international relations. She holds a BA in International Studies focused on Public Health from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Humanitarian Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has worked in Mexico, Guatemala and Tanzania on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS education and testing programs. Domestically, she has worked with migrants, asylees and refugee populations with No More Deaths, Borderlinks and Iskashitaa Refugee Network. For the last 4 years, Lizbeth has coordinated health and health education services for newly arrived United Nations refugees at the International Rescue Committee in Tucson. Recently her work has focused on mitigating the impact of COVID-19 in Arizona's communities of color in collaboration with Pima County Health Department. She enjoys camping and hiking with her partner, Miguel Vazquez, and her daughter, Maya Michela.

Charlinda Haudley is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation in Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Arizona and a Master of Education Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is an alumnus of the U A Arizona Assurance Program, Ronald E. McNair Achievement Program and UCLA's Graduate Opportunity Fellowship Program. She is a doctoral candidate in the U A Center for the Study of Higher Education. Her research focuses on intertribal student engagement at a university Native American student center. In 2019, she received the Maria Teresa Velez Diversity Leadership Award for her commitment to furthering diversity in education, higher education and the community at large. She is the Program Coordinator Senior in the UA Office of Multicultural Advancement. She also serves on the executive board for the U A American Indian Alumni Club. She participated in the 2020 Valle del Sol's Hispanic Leadership Institute-Tucson. Charlinda would like to say 'A héhee'' ( Thank you) to her family and mentors because her successes are also the success of her people.

Billy Hayes is the founder and President of Pedroza & Hayes Accounting and Consulting, serving the accounting needs of the community's small businesses and non-profits. He is also a Financial Analyst for Pima County since 2 017. Billy attended the University of Arizona and received his MBA from Grand Canyon University. Billy serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Tucson Waldorf School as well as the Northwest YMCA. He volunteers for United Way's VITA program processing tax returns for low-income individuals in Tucson. Billy, a Tucson native, has been involved in sports since a young age and has given back to the sports community for the last 16 years coaching high school baseball, including Mountain View H.S, Salpointe Catholic H.S, and The Gregory School and the club team 52 0 Elite. Billy and his wife Rosy have three sons, Alan, Oliver, and Anderson.

William Lainhart, PhD, D(ABMM) is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He also serves as Medical Director of the Clinical and Molecular Microbiology Laboratory at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson and as a Clinical Director of Infectious Diseases for Sonora Quest Laboratories and Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. In his positions, Dr. Lainhart directs and guides his clinical laboratory in the implementation, execution and interpretation of infectious disease testing, including bacterial and fungal culture, and molecular testing for pathogens including in fluenza and SARSCoV- 2 (COVID-19). He led the B – UMCT laboratory team in developing and implementing one of the first COVID-19 tests available in Tucson and Pima County. This testing aided in the rapid diagnosis and treatment of Banner hospital patients. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Lainhart teaches medical residents and fellows, and serves on local and national committees.

Kerri Lopez-Howell is the Executive Director for Sunnyside Foundation, where, in her first year and a half, she increased Sunnyside Foundation's revenue by 700%. In response to COVID-19 she led Sunnyside Foundation in building a grass-roots $6 0,0 0 0 Emergency Relief Fund for SUSD families, raised $215,000 in digital divide support for students, organized food and school supplies drives for 1,800 families and managed $1.25 million in of the Somos Unos: We Are One Immigrant Relief Fund. She is a member of AZ Emerging Leaders, BIPOC in Philanthropy and was a 2019-2020 Public Voices fellow. Her writing has been published nationally in The Washington Posts's The Lilly. She teaches non-profit grant-writing at the University of Arizona and has written grants for YWCA of Southern AZ and Found in Translation Boston. In her free time she serves the board of directors for 3rd Decade; a non-profit that provides financial education and conflict-free advising to Gen Z and Millennials.

Yvette-Marie Margaillan is a Licensed and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the Founder and CEO of ABA Consulting Group, its subsidiaries Academy for Autism and Autism Pediatrics and her new startup Method Motivate. A licensed therapist, she provides therapy to children with autism and training to families, schools, hospitals and other medical practices. She received her Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and a Master of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from A S U in 2015. Yvette-Marie offers pro-bono consultation to Spanish-speaking families who do not have insurance or qualify for state funded services such as AHCCCS. The agency expands its reach by employing dozens of employees outside of Tucson, including Nogales and the Greater Phoenix area. A first-generation Arizonan, Yvette-Marie has bicultural roots, with family and business ties in Sonora. A STEM advocate, she supports organizations seeking innovative solutions to local problems through evidence-based practice and scientific inquiry. She recently joined the board of the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona to continue advocating for and supporting women.

Adriana Martinez graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor's in accounting in 2008 and received her MA in 2009, both from the University of Arizona. She then joined her family business ,Casa Martinez, where she serves as president. Under her leadership, Casa Martinez Salsas has reached levels of success that include distribution in over 8,000 stores in the US, and globally in over 10 countries. Adriana is also co owner of Marba Foods and Marba International, which provide production and distribution of Casa Martinez products. Martinez also gives back to her local, national and global level community. This includes the Tucson Food Pantry, with a donation of more than 6,000 jars of salsas per year, and the Albertson's Community Turkey Bowl, with a donation of more than $50,000 in product to feed over 200,000 people. Adriana , even at her very young age, is a through and through entrepreneur, pioneer, role model, mentor and trailblazer for women who want to start their own business.

Paul Mendoza is Co-Founder of Vib'n. For the last 4 years, his purpose has been to help our community by providing education to our youth and local businesses. He has worked with organizations like Local First AZ, Nogales Community Development, YWCA, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and The Santa Cruz County Superintendent's Office among many other organizations that, he says, have given him valuable knowledge in return. As a kid who grew up on the border with a very hard-working family, he is humbled to make empowering others his life's work. From Vib'n Certified Youth Camp, where kids cultivate skills that will empower them into their future, to workshops created exclusively for our local business community's needs, he feels there is nothing more gratifying than seeing participants start believing in themselves. Nick Menke has over 19 years of banking experience. He joined Bank of America in 2 011 and is responsible for delivering the entire enterprise to small business clients. He was selected to be the Wealth Management Small Business Banker supporting the Merrill Lynch team and their clients. He is a consistent top performer every year, and repeat recipient of the Pinnacle Club Summit Award, most recently 2019. He is on the Tucson Market President Leadership Team, which helps with decisioning for the Bank of America Foundation. He helps support small business growth in our community by delivering world class solutions to clients, providing access to capital and banking solutions to help improve their business and the communities they serve. Nick is an active participant in various community events with United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Community Food Bank, Angel Charity and others. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University Of Arizona Eller College Of Business. Nick credits the support of his wife, Valerie. They have two children, Matthew and Ryan.

McKensie Neff is currently the Executive Director for the Southern Arizona Division of the American Heart Association. In her professional career, she has had the opportunity to develop organizational and leadership skills over the last 13 years in sales and non-profit fundraising. Within her role as the Executive Director, she leads the development, integration and evaluation of strategies and plans to achieve the region's health impact goals. She also has the lead in developing and implementing ongoing business plans of market growth through strategic market partnerships, key fundraising events and philanthropic donors. McKensie is a member of the Greater Tucson Leadership Class 2020 /21, has been a recipient of the 2018 Women of Influence Award as well as the 2015 Starwood Hotels Arizona Catering Manager of the year during her time in sales within the resort and hotel industry. Her favorite times are spent with her fiancé and their two beautiful little girls, Lilianna and Paloma.

Barrie Pedersen has been with the Tucson Police Department since 2004 He currently serves as a K-9 Handler, K-9 Unit Trainer and Special Weapons and Tactics Officer. Barrie enjoys being a Police Officer and works nights with his partner K-9 Kiro. Over his 15-year career, Barrie has been awarded several medals including the 'Medal of Merit' in 2012 and the 'Officer of the Year' in 2019. Barrie also volunteers his time as a youth sports coach. Over the last eight years he has coached more than 20 teams in various sports, including Little League Baseball, YMCA Soccer, YMCA Basketball and Under the Lights & Tucson Turf Flag Football. He enjoys mentoring young kids through sports and provides a positive environment for them to grow as athletes and people.

Jill is a bankruptcy partner in Snell & Wilmer's Tucson office and is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. She has been nominated to Southwest Super Lawyers®, Rising Stars Edition, in Bankruptcy: Business Law from 2015 to 2020, and was selected by The Best Lawyers in America® for the 'Ones to Watch' list in Bankruptcy & Creditor Debtor Rights Law for 2021. She received the Honorable E ileen W. Hollowell Pro Bono Award from the Arizona State Bar Bankruptcy Section in 2016. Jill serves as a volunteer for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Self-Help Center and is a member of the Community Advisory Board and the Chair of the Governance Committee for Arizona Public Media. When she's not working, she's spending time with her husband Adam and her two young sons, Archer, 3, and Hudson, 1.

Nallely Pimentel is a versatile entrepreneur, founder of Nallely Multimedia LLC and CEO of TV Foro Social. A seasoned ethical journalist with over 18 years of experience in media industry in the US and Mexico such as Televisa Hermosillo, Radio Sonora, Grupo Uniradio, Telemax, Cox, Univision, Telemundo and Azteca. Her servant leadership has been her passion from a young age, motivated women and an inspiration of others. Nallely is active in the local and global communities, advocating for children's rights. As a member of multiple journalists associations such as NAHJ, ALMA and Founder Member of the 3rd Journalists Association in Mexico, she promotes education by signing her own historic bilateral agreement for journalism internships. Her academic studies included degrees in leadership, digital marketing, journalism and business administration. Additionally, volunteered at the 2016 Journalism workshop by ASU. Her Latin origin provides a unique perspective to engage the Hispanic community.

In his classroom and in the community, Adam Ragan proves himself to be a fierce advocate. Adam worked with the late Richard Elías to pass Arizona's first-ever ban on youth conversion therapy; helped develop the TLC Youth Center; served on several TUSD committees; and was appointed to several City Commissions. In his day job as a teacher, he's the English department co-lead and union site rep. He works with district leadership as a trusted teacher leader to ensure safe schools and rigorous curricula. A proud union member, Adam also is c o-chair of the César Chávez Coalition. At just 3 6, he's the longest continually elected member of the P C D P Executive Committee. He recently joined the Alliance Fund Board. Adam was the first-ever openly LGBTQ candidate for the TUSD Governing Board. Adam holds a BA in Linguistics and an MA in English. He is a certified K-12 teacher and college writing faculty.

Tim Richardson is an associate broker with Habitation Realty ERA Powered. As one of the top REALTORs in the company, Tim has specialized in quick sales of distressed properties, representing banks and investors with foreclosure sales, foreclosure prevention and broker price opinions. Before beginning a career in Real estate in 2014, Tim had worked as an advocate for people experiencing homelessness and as a live-in volunteer at a homeless shelter. Tim became involved with the Rotary Club of Tucson Presidio in 2015, where he has helped lead a variety of service projects and has served as president, secretary and, currently, chair of the Service Committee. Tim's favorite volunteer event is the Pima County Homeless Point-in-Time count, where he has volunteered annually and plans to continue. Tim has a special passion for his volunteer work as a steward and trail-builder on several Tucson Mountain park trails, as well as for sustainable building and rainwater collection systems, particularly on Tucson's West Side.

Isaac Rothschild is a Managing Partner at Mesch Clark Rothschild. He successfully helped businesses negotiate the bankruptcy process and negotiated multiple sales of on-going businesses. Isaac served as President of the Tucson Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and served on the executive committee for the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar and the Local Rules Committee for the Bankruptcy Court. He currently serves as a Ninth Circuit Lawyer Representative. He chaired the Board of Directors for the Tucson JCC and Arts for All and also as chair for subcommittees at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. He is a founding member of the Tucson Jazz Festival. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in the area of bankruptcy. He has been recognized as a Top Pro Bono Attorney in the State and as the Pro Bono Attorney of the Month by Southern Arizona Legal Aid.

Bryan was born in Tucson and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the UA's Eller College of Management. He joined Watermark while still in school and has advanced through six positions. He was named Chief Investment Officer in March 2020. He has helped grow the company ten-fold since 2008 through 46 individual real estate transactions totaling $3.33 Billion of deal volume. Watermark is now the 11th largest senior housing operator in the country with 65 communities across 21 states, nearly 11,500 beds and more than $3.3 Billion of assets under management. Bryan was a leading member of the team who completed a sale of 50% of the company to Keppel Capital out of Singapore. The company's current pipeline includes $1.3 Billion+ of developments under construction. Bryan is currently serving as the Executive Challenge Chair for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Event and has personally raised more than $30,000.

When Travonne Smith came to Tucson eight years ago by way of Selma, she renewed her commitment to community. A life-long volunteer and community organizer, she assisted youth and their families with DACA applications with Keep Tucson Together at Southside Presbyterian Church and Pueblo High School. Her volunteer work led to helping with Cross Streets Community, Sanctuary Accompaniment, La Escuelita, and more at Southside. She has served as an Elder of Children and Youth and a Deacon at Southside for six years. As her passion for positive change increased, she became more active in political organizing. She is a leader in the Pima County Democratic Party, Progressive Democrats of Southern AZ and Dem Disability Caucus. She is a proud collective member of the Peoples' Defense Initiative (PDI). Her work on PDI's initiative Prop. 205, Tucson Families Free and Together, has deepened her commitment to community empowerment and people led movement work

Dre Thompson is the Executive VP of Startup Tucson (a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs) and the Festival Director of TENWEST Impact Festival (a 10-day festival celebrating the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, science, technology, arts and education). Under her tenure, both have grown tremendously and are signature parts of Tucson's innovation ecosystem. She is rapidly becoming a recognized voice on the topic of grassroots economic development, with her writings being picked up by numerous national and regional outlets. Prior community work includes serving as the Governance Chair of the Tucson Young Professionals and the Tucson Metro Chamber's Talent Task force. She currently serves on the Marketing Committee of the Woman's Foundation. She has a Master's degree in social science from the University of Chicago, where she was honored as a Beatrice Cummings Violence Prevention Fellow and the Solomon O. Lichter Memorial Prize for Student Scholarship and Professional Leadership.

In his four years as an entrepreneur, Hector Treto has discovered a deep passion for helping his community that has given him so much. Edith Villalobos-Zamora is the Owner if EmV Design Build. She started her business ground-up in February of 2015. Edith started her business ground-up In February, 2015, and was the only employee for the company, closing the year with revenue of $161,000. By the middle of 2020, EmV grew to a $1,000,000 revenue company with three full time employees, one part time employee, an office and a team of sub-contractors that provide quality services to EmV's clientele. EmV Design Build also supports the Arizona Community by designing house for aged-out foster care and homeless youth. In 2017, Edith was one of two honorees for Cox Communications Latina Entrepreneur of the Year. That same year, Edith won X1 2nd place Kitchen Design and X3 3rd place design awards for Southern Arizona's American Society of Interior Designers association.

Melissa Zimmerman is the Vice President of Clinical Services for Jewish Family & Children's Services of Southern Arizona. In this role, she provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of all clinical programs, which provide crucial therapeutic support to individuals and families throughout Southern Arizona. In addition, she provides training in the community on topics such as suicide prevention and compassion fatigue. A licensed clinician who is passionate about trauma-informed care, Melissa is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a member of the Southern Arizona Trauma Informed Network. She also enjoys working with MSW interns and is a certified field instructor through Arizona State University. Melissa earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Arizona, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver. In her spare time, Melissa loves watching University of Arizona Women's and Men's basketball with her husband, David, and their rescued pit bull, Rupert.

Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks, University of Arizona Cancer Center

Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks is currently a postdoctoral fellow with the University of Arizona Cancer Center focusing on the science of cancer health disparities. She has a DrPH from the College of Public Health (COPH) at the UA in Family, Child Health. Felina's research focus, both during her doctorate research and now with the Cancer Center, is on caregiving and its impacts on both the caregivers and their families, particularly for American Indian caregivers and for cancer patients. Throughout her academic career (undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate years) Felina has emphasized both the science of public health and the need for active community engagement. As such, she regularly presents to communities and organizations about her research, with 10 invited presentations over the last year as well as an active publication record, with eight articles published in the last five years with five as first author. Recent accomplishments:

Adam Ragan Sunnyside USD and Pima Community College

In his classroom and in the community, Adam Ragan proves himself to be a fierce advocate. Adam worked with the late Richard Elías to pass Arizona's fir st-ever ban on youth conversion therapy; helped develop the TLC Youth Center and spearheaded much of its fundraising; served on several TUSD committees; and was appointed to several City Commissions. In his day job as a teacher, he's the English department co-lead and union site rep. He works with district leadership as a trusted teacher leader to ensure safe schools and rigorous curricula. A proud union member, Adam also is co-chair of the César Chávez Coalition. At just 36, he's the longest continually elected member of the PCDP Executive Committee. He recently joined the Alliance Fund Board. Adam was the first-ever openly LGBTQ candidate for the TUSD Governing Board. Adam holds a BA in Linguistics and an MA in English, both from ASU. Honorable Raner C. Collins, Senior District Judge

Judge Raner C. Collins grew up in a segregated Arkansas and came to Arizona for law school. In 19 98 he was nominated by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission August of that year. In 2013 he became chief judge, the first African American to serve in that position. According to Isaac Rothschild, his nominator, Judge Collins used the issues he faced in his life as motivation to empathize with those who appear in front of him. He began his career at the Pima County Attorney's Office, where he earned a reputation for reasonably addressing issues that did not have good outcomes. As a judge he understands that most of the individuals who appear before him are facing one of the biggest days of their life. He takes that responsibility seriously and personally and communicates that responsibility to the law clerks that he trains and mentors. He cares about those he mentors on both a personal and professional level, always making himself available to discuss any issues that arise in their lives, while also discussing personal and professional decisions that he is working through. He focuses on creating opportunities for people that he can assist with and where his guidance will create a lasting impact.
