Judges tasted 25 beers from microbreweries around Arizona made with Class A reclaimed water from Pima County's Agua Nueva Water Reclamation Facility during the Arizona Pure Water Brew Challenge at Mr. Beer in Tucson on Sept. 9, 2017. Reclaimed water was further purified using an additional five-step process before it was delivered to the breweries. Judges got it down to seven finalists, from which they picked two top finishers to be announced at the 32nd Annual WateReuse Symposium in Phoenix on Sept. 10.
