A 63-year-old man was found dead in a south-side encampment Friday night in what Tucson police are calling a homicide.
Police found the man with trauma wounds in a camp near East Fairland Stravenue and South Olsen Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Jan. 30, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the Tucson Police Department said in a news release Saturday.
His name was not released, pending notification of his family.Â
Investigators are seeking additional witnesses and ask anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.Â
