A 21-year-old man was shot and killed early Monday morning during a "social gathering" in midtown, Tucson police say.
Jeremy Garcia was found wounded about 1:00 a.m. when police answered a shooting call in the 1200 block of East 10th Street, near East Broadway and North Campbell Avenue, police said in a news release.
Despite life-saving efforts, Garcia died at the scene, the release said.
Nathaniel Astorga, 21, was arrested and booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of second-degree murder, the release said.
