A man has been arrested in connection with the death of his 65-year-old mother in Vail.
Andre Tyrone Tillmon, 38, was booked at the Pima County jail on one count of first-degree murder.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department was called to Cindy Kreider’s home, where she lived with her son, on Friday just before 5 p.m. by the Rincon Valley Fire District.
Detectived saw trauma to Kreider and “other concerning evidence” at the home, in the 13600 block of Hampden Green Way, northwest of Colossal Cave Road and Via Rancho Del Lago, a news release said.
Detectives gathered evidence linking Tillmon to his mother’s death and arrested him on Saturday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Department said.
