Officials have identified the 25-year-old Picture Rocks man they say shot his parents and then turned the gun on himself Monday afternoon.
Beau Bishop is believed to have shot his parents at their family home in the 11300 block of West Via Dichosa shortly before 5 p.m., said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a department spokeswoman.
John Bishop, 65, and Lisa Bishop, 47, were taken by helicopter to University Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition Tuesday.
Beau Bishop was taken by ambulance to UMC with life-threatening injuries.
A motive had not been established Tuesday.
