A third man connected to an assault of a Tucson police officer in a south-side neighborhood was arrested Wednesday.

Carrillo was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault, fleeing from a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct showing reckless display of a deadly weapon, Hawke said.
In addition, Carrillo had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest stemming from a previous aggravated assault involving a police officer, said Hawke.
Authorities began searching for Carrillo on Aug. 12. Several men had been pointing guns at people at a carwash at West Irvington Road and South Liberty Avenue. Officers saw the men leaving in a Jeep Cherokee, which they followed. It stopped and the men got out and ran. One man jumped over a wall into a yard. The man popped up over the wall and began shooting at an officer, striking his car several times, Hawke said.
The officer was not hit but suffered minor injuries from broken glass.
Police arrested Sergio Valenzuela, 20, and Jose Tapia Paloma, 24, on suspicion of several felonies soon after the incident.
