A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday night when he slammed the car he was driving into a wall in the Catalina Foothills, officials say.
The driver was headed south on North Alvernon Way when deputies say he ran a stop sign at East Skyline Drive, crashing into a wall that runs parallel to Skyline, Deputy Jesus Bañuelos said in a news release.
The driver died at University of Arizona Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The name of the driver had not been made public Monday morning.
