An Ajo woman has been arrested after police say they found marijuana inside a car at the Perryville prison complex in Goodyear west of Phoenix.
Elizabeth Armenta, 19, was taken into custody Sunday. Police were checking cars entering the prison when a drug sniffing dog alerted them, The Arizona Republic reported.
Armenta had signed a consent form allowing officers to search her vehicle, police said.
Police found 19 tightly wrapped, brick-shaped bundles of what appeared to be marijuana, court documents said.
Two bundles were discovered inside a diaper bag that belonged to Armenta.
Armenta was booked into a Phoenix jail on suspicion of marijuana possession and marijuana transportation.
